Ying Ker Lou, Chinese Hakka Cuisine

This was a treat by Wee Siong for my birthday last month. Thanks bro!

It was my first visit to this famous chain of Hakka Cuisine, they have branch at most of the shopping mall here in PJ and KL.

The environment was nice and interior design is very nice, very relaxing. A good place for fine dining.

Jasmine tea... nice pot there.

But the food is normal and nothing to shout about it. But I still will blog about it because it was my birthday lunch. Haha...

The fried squid taste not bad but there still room for improvement. It suppose to be more crunchier.

The steam vegetable was the best. = )

Wee Siong said this is good but it was normal for me. Hehe

Overall, worth to try if you haven't try it before.

This branch is located at Pavilion, same floor as Food Republic.

Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee

This is an alternative for Kin Kin Chilly Pan Mee.

It is called Restaurant Super Kitchen Chilly Pan Mee, located at Chow Yang SS2, PJ. Same row as Restaurant Kayu.

So if you think Kin Kin Chilly Pan Mee is too packed and the service was sucks, you can give this Super Restaurant a try. I would said "Worth it".

This is the chilly flake, for me, it look the same and taste nice too.

And this is the Pan Mee itself, it is nice, at least the egg was cooked nicer than Kin Kin.

However, the noodle texture is a bit different than Kin Kin. Have to said that Kin Kin's one is better.

Yummy... taste nice... I'm gonna finish this in 3 minutes!!

Another plus point is the soup. It is nicer and the portion is larger.

Finally, they have this chilly sauce that really nice to dip for your wanton. It taste spicy and a little bit sour.

Overall, it is worth a try and definitely a place better than Kin Kin. Unless you like to packed with people and scold by people...

I got myself a DSLR for Christmas

This Christmas, I'd got myself a Digital SLR camera. Weee......
I had been thinking about it for quite a long time and finally made up my mind.

It is Canon 450D which come with the kit lens 18-55mm. My new baby!!

Now Photo Kaki and Photo Malaysia become my new best friend...

Both of the sites really teach me a lot about photography...

The world of Junk

This is the world of junk.. or more accurate junk food.

But do you know why it is call junk? Shouldn't it be called snack?

Any food that has poor nutritional value is considered unhealthy and may be called a junk food. Generally, a junk food is given a very attractive appearance by adding food additives and colors to enhance flavor, texture, appearance, and increasing long self life.

So summary, junk food is not good to you, that's why it is called JUNK!!

I always said NO to Junk Food!! But they just never listen... =.="

I meet Tun Dr Mahathir @ Pavilion

When I was back from HongKong last week, we went to Pavilion for the snowflake event.
And I saw him.. our Tun Dr Mahathir, the leader of the country for more than 20 years.
It is not an easy job and he deserve our respect and honors.

When I shake his hand, I found that, man, he is really old. His hand is cold and not warm as he look like.

I had this kind mixed feeling for taking photo with him. Come on, he just want to walk around in the shopping complex but everyone rush over and take photo with him. And he is so nice to take photo with everyone that come forward. Man, give he a chance to walk around and enjoy his shopping.

Come and feel the snow at Pavilion KL

Yes. Come and feel the Christmas joy and SNOW here at Pavilion KL.

Everyday 8:00pm to 8:30pm, there will be snowflake here at Level 3, Bukit Bintang entrance, Pavilion. You will know where it is based on the superb crowd.

I ate some Donkey Meat today !!

It was freezing out there... currently on business trip to Hong Kong.
We are having our dinner at one of the local restaurant beside our Hotel at Wan Chai.

And Phil saw something on the menu.. DONKEY MEAT!! haha. new stuff..

Without much consideration we ordered a plate of donkey meat. (around HKD 50)

It is imported directly from China. So still consider fresh..
There was actually some research saying that donkey meat is healthier than beef.

How does it taste?
Actually it taste like luncheon meat. But the meat texture are more tender.

Beside that, we also ordered some other dishes ..

This is nice... pork meat and ...

What is this? It is not plastic. = p

I have DiGi Broadband but...

Recently I had joined the Pimp My Broadband contest by DiGi.

And I was lucky enough to win the free DiGi Broadband package for 3 months plus a free USB modem. Thanks to the yellow man, DiGi.

I was so grateful and happy until I found out that my house doesn't have DiGi 3G coverage. It only have EDGE and the speed is not ideal.

You must be thinking that DiGi broadband is meant for mobility.
You can always bring your laptop out!!

Finally it did blown....

As mention in my previous post [Welcome to blow up my bandwidth], finally my bandwidth had reach the limit a day before the month end.

Finally, I did utilized what I paid for. Haha.

Well, I wouldn't upgrade now unless it happen again this month.

By the way, did you guys know that DELL Malaysia mistakenly selling 64GB Solid State SATA Hard drive for RM 17!! Yeah, you heard me right. It is only RM 17.
