While waiting for our movie to start, me and Christine pay a visit to my favorite spot in a shopping complex, Book Store. We went to Times in Pavilion. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a book worm and I don’t buy book. Normally I just go there to read free magazine and some self-learning book. ^_^

When I was reading some of the programming book in the IT section, Christine come over and...

Xtine : Can buy me a book?
Me : Huh?? (Just for the record, Christine never read book one)
Me (after shock) : Oh.. female or design magazine is it?
Xtine : Nope, I want to buy novel.
Me : WTH... You never read one, why suddenly want to buy those books?
Xtine : This one is nice, I want to read.
Me : Ok, what novel is that?
Xtine : New Moon, 2nd episode for Twilight.
Me : Eh, I thought you already watch the 1st episode in DVD, why not wait for the movie of Moon Light to come out?
Xtine : ......
Me : By the way, my colleague said that SS2 have a shop to rent this kind of book one. Why not we go rent from there?
Xtine : .........
Me (Feeling that if I keep talking, something will happen) : Ok lar, I buy for you with condition you must finish the book.
Xtine : Ok sure.

So end up I spend RM39.50 for a novel which a DVD only cost RM8.



Well, what is this novel about?
To find out what I spend my money on, I go search the net and found that it was a love story between a vegetarian vampire and a normal *ordinary* girl. This vampire, they named it Edward, was created in the story as a charm, funny, sweet, etc, everything girls will like about. No wonder so many girls like this series.

This book was published in 2006, quite long time already, doing a great come back due to the Twilight movie lately. I still have the movie in my hard disk.
Maybe I should spend some time to watch it this weekend.
Or may be not.
Nahh.. I better watch my Hereos and Lost. = p

Am I getting old?

I used to work more than 62 hours non-stop, but now I can’t even work pass 12.
I used to spend my night clubbing and drinking, but now I spend my night in front of my laptop watching TVB.
I used to be able to finish 21km marathon, but now I can’t even reach 3km.
I used to listen to my father talking about his old good time, but now I’m the one who keep telling people about my past time story.
My happy hours used to be outing and hang out with friends, but now my happy hours is a nap.
I used to have a lot of older colleagues, but now I’m among the oldest.
I used to have a good memory, but now the more I read/learn, the more I forget

Yes, I think I’m getting older. How about you?

After long 4 years, I had finally migrated my hosting and create a new skin for this blog. Previously I was using free hosting services from 100WebSpace.com. Thanks a lot for hosting my blog for 4 years together with your good service and excellent uptime even it was a free hosting. But it is time for me to move on.

After a few search I did, I come across ServerFreak. The price was the first thing that caught my attention. I found that it also have a lot of good reviews and indeed, the service is really good as it only take less than 2 hours to activate everything upon my payment. So now dRaGon CiTY is officially hosted at ServerFreak. Excellent job and credit goes for ServerFreak administrator and customer service for all their help and support.

I also spend some time to crack/hack the new blogger template to support my classic blogger template. For your information, I had to do this because if you are host outside the BlogSpot server, you cannot upgrade your classic blogger template to the new one. Too bad. Anyhow I quite like the outcome of this template. It is time to get some rest now.

Half pass three in the afternoon; I was working on my workspace. Look out the window and saw this!



Yes, it is a lizard or in Malay, we call it CICAK. What is it doing out the window at 36th floor?



Suddenly, I’m thinking of how tough it is to be a small lizard climbing up the building, fighting against the strong wind and gravity just to get to the top.

Same thing happen in our life as well, it is normal for us to meet obstacles or challenges in our journey to achives better life either in relationship or career.

We all know that it is not easy but since lizard can do it, why we can’t? ^_^

Today I want to share with you all on how to set the proxy for your Nokia 5800 WIFI connection. The setting menu was not so easy to find for newbie. It took me about half an hour to find the place to set it.

1. Go to your first level menu in your phone and click on the Settings menu.


2. Click on the Connectivity menu.


3. Click on the Destinations menu


4. Click on the Internet menu


5. It will show a list of previous access point that you had connected before. If the access point that you want to connect to are not inside here, click refresh. After found the access point, click on it.


6. Screen below show the details of the WIFI access point.


7. Click on Option and choose Advanced Settings


8. Enter your Proxy server address and Proxy port number. Then get out from the menu.


9. Go to your browser now. Voila, here is the Google page!!

I was on my flight to California, US. My company is flying me on Singapore Airline, A380. I’m so happy as it is always been my dream to travel to US. This is the first time for me to fly in flights that provide in-flight entertainment system. I was so excited to check it out. I heard that the system offer on-demand movies, audio and Nintendo games. Upon boarding the plane, I found out that my seat was just a normal seat in our normal domestic flight. It doesn’t give me enough leg room plus I’m having a middle seat. I hate middle seat, you can’t move your body well. How am I going to survive the hours? I decided that some music would help me to pass time. (I totally forget about the in-flight entertainment). So I took out my Nokia5800, turn it on as flight mode and start listening to all the songs that I manage to download into it a day before. Listening to ‘Life is Wonderful’ by Jason Mraz, I finally fall asleep, don’t really sure did I finish the song before I fall asleep. zzzZZZ

Then there is one steward come over and wake me up. He asks me what I want to have for my meal. I open my eye and look around. Darn!! I was on my flight back to KL from Brunei. It just a dream!! WTF.. I must be crazy

Lately I’d been listening to Jason Mraz songs after I bump into one of his song, I’m Yours. After searching and listen to most of his song, I found that one of his song ‘Life is wonderful’ have very meaningful lyrics.

My favourite Alexis Grace, 21 had been voted out from American Idol season 8. So sad. For me, she was among the best four. She has the talent and what it takes to become the next American Idol. But she became the third finalist voted off the show.

She sang Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” last week which causes her the chance to go forward. I love that song and her voice but seem to be America doesn’t think so.

I believe even she is going home, but like what Paula said, home will be never the same again. All the best Alexis!

In my flight yesterday, I had come trough this one interesting article from the flight magazines. The title was so meaningful which attract me to read it. (Normal me will just go trough the photo only. Lazy bump).

"Earth's Final Paradise", the title for the article. Basically it tells the story about a trip to the world’s southernmost continent which is icy, desolate piece of land, Antarctica. I just get to know that Antarctica is the largest single mass of ice on earth storing 90% of the planet’s fresh water. Wow. And it is the only continent on Earth that doesn’t have any native human population. Penguins doesn’t count = )

The writer travel on board of a luxury expedition ship which has 2 restaurant, cinema, gym, shops and even library where you can find plenty of books about Antarctica. How nice. I still remember many years back, travelling to Antarctica is like almost impossible. But now, you can simply catch a flight to Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand, where you can join expedition tours to the no man land.

I always dream of going to those places with large icescape, iceberg and SNOW! But in the reality, I was scare of cold. I can’t even get used to my office air-con temperature. = ( .. Wonder can I survive or not if I really step my foot on Antarctica.

But I will still keep it as my dream, who knows, may be one day, I will have a chance to leave my footprints on the Earth’s Final Paradise.

I'm currently surfing in Coffee Bean because the stupid hotel doesn't provide any internet connection. But darn, natural call, i need to go to wash room. What should i do?

1. Should I off my laptop and leave my drinks there and go to wash room and then come back?

2. Should I just leave the laptop there?
3. Should I bring everything together and then come back again?
4. Should I inform the waiter to take care of my laptop or my drinks?

Anyone encounter the same situation before? If yes, please teach me what to do.. = (

During our Makan-Makan trip to Ipoh few weeks back, Karen bring us to buy the famous Ipoh Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken. The price for 1 box is around RM15/16, can’t really remember the exact price. For me, it is good but not great. Worth to have try if never try before.

I’d spend some quality time with Christine last Sunday. First we went for sight-seeing and brunch at Putrajaya.

We had our brunch at Nandos, it had been a year or more since the last time we had our meal at Nandos.

The chicken was still ok but the drink just too expensive. One glass of ice lemon tea cost us RM6.30. WTF..

After our brunch, as planned, we head to the Tropical Botanical Garden. I tried the Garmin GPS on my new Nokia 5800 to track the location and it is so cool. It was very accurate. This is the first time I’m driving using GPS navigation. = )

Once we reach there, we found that the entrance fee is free. How nice. At first, we thinking of renting a Tandem bicycle (Bicycle built for two) but almost all the tandem were out of service. So we have to choose normal bicycle.



"Botanical Garden Putrajaya gives you a close encounter with some of the world’s most fascinating plants, with about 700 species from over 90 countries of origin", this is quoted from the official website but we doesn’t really see that much.







However, it is still a nice place to spend your time cycling around with your loved one as it is not so crowded. At least the air is still fresh.

Today is a very special day for me as it is my elder brother James Birthday.
Even that we don’t spend much time during our younger time as condition of our family doesn’t allowed so. However we still have a very closed and good relationship. Brother is always brother. He really take care of us and show a very good role model.

Do you have a best friend?

I used to have a best friend when I was young, around age of 15, if not mistaken. My best friend will do his best to please me and keep me smiling. Basically he is my unconditional friend and curl up with me when I’m feeling down or sad. He will play with me when I’m in happy mood. He is one of my best friends in my life. And yes, he is my DOG.

Recently I was addicted to Poker Palace application in Facebook.
Basically it is a Texas Poker games which you can choose a room (different rate) to play in. Can add your friend as your poker friend so that you able to track which room they are. Anyone else playing this game?
