My first 3G activation experience.....

If you are following my blog, sure you guys know that I just bought a 3G phone. So I went to 1U to upgrade my Maxis SIM Card. After walking for few hours only to find out that the Maxis Service Centre there no longer open. Still carrying a big hope to activate my 3G services, me and christine went to PJ SS2 and we are sure that there is a Maxis Service Centre. And guess what ? It close already. (after office hour).

Went home with “tangan kosong”, I surf the internet for other location of the Maxis Service Centre. Yeah, there was a service centre at Mines Wonderland. So I called up to check whether they open on Sunday and if there have upgrade services. They said yes. = ).

So the next day, I went to Mines on Sunday and paid RM2.00 for parking. Walk in to the service centre and told them I want to upgrade my sim card to 3G sim card. The girl (a trainee) ask me to take out my simcard because she want to see my simcard serial number. After I show my simcard to her, she simply said “Oh..Tak ada lagi. Sim card habis” WTF !!! they should told me that earlier when I called up that time. Damn poor rubbish service….wasted my Rm2.00.

Photo
My upgrade 3G Sim Card !!!

Yeah…finally I got my simcard upgrade at Alamanda, Putrajaya the next week. The service there a lot better than the one at Mines Shopping Complex.

So excited, I went home and request for MMS 3G, WAP 3G and Streaming 3G service profile setting trough the net. After I received and install the setting, I still need to wait for 2 hours to wait the card to be activated.

1 hours passed.....

1 hours 30 minutes passed.....

Finally, my 3G activated......

So I try to connect.....deng deng deng !!!

Hungry and tired after do all your shopping at 1U?

Hungry and tired after do all your shopping at 1U? Don’t want to spend on expensive western food? Don’t worry.. I just found a good and cheap place to have your tea break after shopping.

Photo

It’s was called “Mmm Yum Yum Bat Kut Teh”, but it doesn’t sell BKT only. There was dim sum and a lot of other snack food. This simple restaurant was located opposite the "Sushi King". The prices are reasonable. And for bonus, it sell it dim sum for half price after 3pm. Damn cool and free flow of Chinese tea..haha.

Photo

The environment was nice and comfortable. Really suitable for us to fill our empty stomach and give our legs some rest after a heavy shopping session..haha.
Photo
Yummy "yau cha kueh" when dip with BKT soup.

Photo
nice "har kau"..

Photo
"Loh Mah Kai" also not bad…better than kopitiam one..

Photo
All this for half price..cool

And for info, i went to Sushi King at Tesco last Thursday for the RM 2 promotion…damn kena tipu as not all the sushi on the conveyer belt cost Rm2. Those stuff like octopus and bean got no discount at all !! Not like the advertisement they put... Here is some of the photo I took using my new K600i. ^_^

I was so suprise + happy when i bump into Christine at Sushi King. She came with her zhi mui, Rachel and "Jolly Mah" (Juliana, in case u read this...blame Christine..hehe). Another member of her "Yut Kuong Kuong, Sei Yang Bong" (mean Full Moon, Four People Gang) not coming. Back to the Sushi King, the food was bad and not nice as usual..

My New Phone...

Weeeee....I’d finally change my phone after 2 years using Nokia 8850 (once known as the high class executive phone..). This phone cost around RM3000++ many years back. I bought it for Rm300++ ...second hand one of course..

Photo

What phone did I change to ? Hmm..for sure it was not “My Dream Phone”. Too expensive and not in the market yet. At first I was thinking of going for Nokia N70 but failed to bid it in my company bidding session. Some one overbid me. The bidding session was organized so that employee can buy phone and company paid half of the price for the phone with the condition the phone need to be use for testing purpose.. ^_^ .. so my new phone is not N70..
.....

..

Deng deng deng deng !! It’s Sony Ericsson K600i .. AP one ...haha.. I bought it for RM 730..

Photo

Well, the main reason I bought this phone is because of it outlook. With the silver color, it look very executive. Secondly it’s because it has 3G functionality, I can’t wait to play with Video Call...going to subscribe for 3G service this weekend. Some other function for the phone are camera with 1.3 MP, mp3 player, 3D java games, fm radio, usb connection and others standard function. The player sound of Sony Ericsson K600i is damn great...adjust until full volume, the sound still not pecah… ^_^ . Some more the phone support flash file ..damn cool..

Thanks to Jon, I found that my phone also have this panorama function. Below is sample photo I took using panorama option…my workspace..

Photo

Too bad it doesn’t have any memory slot, it only come with 37MB internal memory..so cannot store too many mp3. But for me it’s still ok as mp3 player was nothing fancy to me.

Yeah…I love my new phone !!!
