Additional information about my previous post. KLG is originated from Taiwan and specialized in fried chicken. They have 1/3 of the fried chicken business in Taiwan.
The real meaning for KLG is Happy Chicken.(Kai Lan Gee), pronounced in Mandarin.
This IPOH-based KLG actually belongs to KLG Fried Chicken Holdings Sdn Bhd, a newcomer in the Malaysian fast-food business. It’s a partnership between some Taiwanese and local Dato’ (I don’t know who). Apparently they paid RM1 million for the franchise. Heard that they are now selling the franchises locally for RM100K per outlet. Training and equipment will be provided. Wow…look like they are doing big business here, not simply “ciplak” from KFC.

looks like they serve coke, atleast better then the usual pepsi from KFC. i think i am going to give it a try, if it ever comes to KL.

it's already in kl. only 1 outlet in taman desa (off old klang road). honestly the shop i ate at in kampar tasted slightly better. funnily it was their logo design being so similar to kfc that attracted me to try.i wonder if it was calculated to work dat way. good, all slightly spice

i ate the burger, not bad 1.is ok la, 4 new fast food restaurant, sure got many ppl dun like de lo.if u dare go there get a try mean u r a new generation ppl mar,dare 2 die 1.if not......mean u r old! XD
