Homemade Chocolate Mousse

Wee…chocolate mousse!! Recently Christine just learn up how to make chocolate mousse and the taste was YUMMY….The chocolate was just nice and it taste great together with the peach and strawberry sauce. And a few drop of V.S.O.P make the chocolate mousse taste even better. Thanks dear. It was nice. ^_^

For those who interested to make chocolate mousse, here’s the recipe

Ingredients:
300g, plain dessert chocolate
6 eggs, seperated
6 tbsp rum or brandy
Grated chocolate


    Steps:
  1. Break the chocolate into small squares, then melt them in a bowl or pan held over simmering water. Stir till fully melted(about 5 minutes). Remove from heat.

  2. Beat the egg yolks and add to chocolate while hot, beating thoroughly.

  3. Leave the mixture to cool for 15 minutes.

  4. Whip the egg whites till soft peaks form, them form into chocolate mixture.

  5. Spoon mixture into 6 nice glasses, cover with clingwrap and chill for at least 2 hours.

  6. To server: make a few tiny holes on top of mousse and spoon some brandy or rum over. Top with grated chocolate
